Have you ever been interested in taking part in the design and construction of a stage set? The Western Players have a unique opportunity to fulfil your interest. Three times a year, the Western Players create, from standard 'flats' (framed pieces of canvas of regular sizes), the scenery for their productions. The art of taking a description (often quite rudimentary) of the stage from a script and turning it into a three dimensional, authentic styled stage set is a piece of magic in its own right. We are looking for volunteers to work with, and learn from, our set designers and construction team.
